AgastyaOncology
For patients & families

Everything you need before you walk in.

A diagnosis brings enough uncertainty. Here's exactly how a first visit works, how we help with insurance, and answers to the questions we hear most.

Planning your first visit

Four simple steps, no obligation.

  1. 01

    Get in touch

Call, WhatsApp or send an enquiry. Share what you can — a diagnosis, reports, or simply your concern. This is not a commitment, just the first step.

  2. 02

    Bring your records

If you have them, carry prior reports, scans, biopsy results and a list of current medicines. If you don't, we'll help arrange the tests you need.

  3. 03

    Meet the team

You'll sit with the relevant specialist, who will explain the diagnosis and options in plain language and answer every question — no rush.

  4. 04

    Leave with a clear plan

Where treatment is needed, our medical, surgical and radiation oncologists coordinate one plan, and we walk you through what happens next.

Insurance & cost

Insurance & cashless treatment

We understand that cost and paperwork are a real worry alongside a diagnosis. Our front-desk team helps you understand what your policy covers and handles the coordination wherever possible.

We work to support cashless treatment with empanelled insurers and TPAs, and provide clear, itemised estimates so there are no surprises. Bring your policy details on your first visit and we'll guide you through it.

How we help

  • Assistance with cashless approvals and TPA coordination
  • Clear, itemised cost estimates before treatment begins
  • Support with documentation and claim paperwork
  • Guidance on government and charitable schemes where applicable
Common questions

Answers before you ask.

Do I need a referral to visit Agastya Oncology?

No. You can contact us directly to arrange a consultation. If you have a referral or prior reports, bring them along, but they aren't required to get started.

Is an enquiry the same as booking an appointment?

No — an enquiry simply lets our team reach out to understand your situation and guide you on next steps. There's no obligation, and it's the easiest way to begin.

Can I get a second opinion here?

Yes. Many people come to us to confirm a diagnosis or review a treatment plan made elsewhere. Share your existing reports and our specialists will give you a considered second opinion.

Do you support cashless insurance treatment?

We work with empanelled insurers and TPAs to support cashless treatment where possible, and our team helps with approvals and paperwork. Bring your policy details and we'll guide you.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Any prior reports, scans, biopsy results and a list of your current medicines. If you don't have investigations yet, we'll arrange the ones you need on site.

Are all three types of oncology available in one place?

Yes. Medical, surgical and radiation oncology work together under one roof, so your care is coordinated as a single plan rather than split across facilities.
